The Philippine Meteorological Society (PMS), Inc., a non-stock, non-profit organization whose aim is to advance the promotion of meteorology as a science and profession in the Philippines. In this note, it is with great pleasure to announce the newly elected officers of the PMS for the term 2024-2025. These dedicated individuals have been chosen to lead our organization and contribute to the advancement of meteorology and atmospheric science in the Philippines.

    Formulates, implements and corrdinates project to strengthen education, research and development in thev atmospheric and related sciences.

    Establishes linkages with universities/ colleges, operational forecast centers/ offices, meteorological societies, non-governmental organizations and the private sector.

  • Mission

    To develop and dissiminate knowledge of meteorology and related hydrologic sciences.

    To promote and advance the professional application of meteorology.

    To encourage collaboration amongst Members of the society, individuals, boides both corporate.

    To promote among the public an understanding of weather.
